The techno scene stands for freedom, community, and a conscious way of dealing with each other. These values are what we live by at Technostoff. We know our responsibility and continuously work to minimize our ecological footprint. Our approach: honest sustainability instead of greenwashing.
On-Demand Production: Your Contribution Against Overproduction
Every piece you order from us is finished by hand on-demand in Kassel. That’s not just a quality promise, but also our most important contribution to sustainability. We only produce what’s really needed – no stock, no surplus, no destruction.
- No Overproduction: We avoid unnecessary inventory and waste of valuable resources.
- Less Textile Waste: Every produced piece has an owner – you.
- Conscious Consumption: You get a freshly made item crafted with care just for you.
Shipping & Packaging: Reduced to the Essentials
We think ahead when it comes to shipping too. We optimize our packaging to save material and volume – and work with partners who do the same.
- Recycled Materials: Our shipping boxes are made from recycled cardboard.
- Minimized Volume: Where it makes sense, we use space-saving foil bags made from recyclable LDPE.
- Climate-Neutral Shipping: We ship with DHL GoGreen and offset the CO₂ emissions of every package.
Our Goals for the Future: Organic & Recycled
We’re not there yet, but we have a clear plan. Our next big step is switching to more sustainable materials – GOTS-certified organic cotton and recycled fibers.
Our goal: By 2027, we want to use only textiles made from organic cotton and recycled fibers.
This path is a challenge because sustainable materials are often more expensive and not always available in the desired qualities. But we’re sticking with it.
